Supplementary Reading

This blog is intended as a channel for me to promote my own music, as well as post sports, music, art, and news bits that I find interesting.  If it gives you an indication of the blog’s content, my biggest influences are DJ Premier, Mark Ronson, Dan the Automator, Daft Punk, RJD2, Jon Brion, Ant, Michel Gondry, and Prince Paul.

I’m a classically trained violinist from New York City and living in Los Angeles.  Armed with relative perfect pitch and knowledge of music theory, I try to write music in whatever genre currently speaks to me.  My main tools are currently the MPC-2500, ProTools LE, a MIDI keyboard, Reason, an AKG C4000B Microphone, and Ableton Live.  I’d love to be able to make a living making music, and this website is just one optimistic step in that direction.

I’m currently employed at a music production studio called Musikvergnuegen, so keep an eye out for any commercials I might play on or compose.
